About Me
Many greetings from the shining city of Emballa~ My name is Arynël. I am a 24yr old, self-taught artist and fantasy writer from the small dog-haven town of Horsham Pennsylvania. And to say it all started with a dream would be a fiery understatementーIt all started with dragons. When I was a child, in the recesses of my mind dwelled the vague memory of a live-action movie featuring a kind, talking dragon, and the day I brought forth the question of it to my parents, I was soon rewarded with not only the relief of knowing that film was not just a dream, but with also seeing it bloom into the crux of inspiration for my story: Tales of Skaadom.

Growing up home-schooled for the following two years was probably the greatest attribute to Skaadom's development, though it didn't begin as a story, it was a highly immersive game. I'm sure you may fondly know the sort: stick fights, and berries crushed into potions, made-up words, and of course, the vigilant pursuit of scouting for other children worthy of following us through the rift into dracian paradise. But my world was always a bit more in-depth than even that, and many of the main characters in the books started as mere passers-by in this world.

Making things up as I went along wouldn't do, there was research to be done. I have studied many books on dragon anatomy, species, culture, and history; dragons from all around the world. Some crucial early sources included Dr. Ernest Drake's accounts in Dragonology, and sir John Topsell's How to Raise and Keep a Dragon, book of dragon care and practical living. All of these informative guidebooks are based on hints of truth about international mythology, and my job is to canonize the parts where all these histories and fictional-facts come together.

As for my other credentials I have received a Bachelor's in Arts, dualing in Studio Art and English & Writing, at Bryn Athyn Collegeーa most rather non-dracian school, but one of very dragon-approved architecture! I specialize in sculpting and mixed media where I attempt to bring many of the beesties among my book pages to life.
